How To Comb
December 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Okay, so recently a Natural informed me of how to properly comb my Transitioning Hair – Roots to Ends….I am telling everyone that I am NOT a fan of combing my Transitioning Hair (even when it is lathered with Conditioner). However, I must admit that this technique has helped to eliminate the Knots I had previously found throughout my hair.
After c0-washing my hair with Tresemme Moisture Conditioner, I apply Giovanni Smooth as Silk Moisturizer and section my hair into 5 or 6 medium size sectioned. Then I comb each section with a wide-tooth shower comb – roots to end.

Hey Ladies! I know it has been a while since my last post, things have been SO busy lately. However, I wanted to inform you all that Natural Sunshine is having a sale on various products (Shea Butter, Etc.) in her Etsy Store. As of now I have not had the privilege of trying her products; but, I have heard many wonderful reviews from both Transitioners and Naturals. So, ladies let me know what you think.

Okay, So I Didn’t Invent This
December 2, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Recently I have started spraying Rose Water on my Transitioning Hair and then applying a small amount of Giovanni Moisture Organic Conditioner. I have noticed that this has made the Transitioning Hair develop a nice curl pattern and a healthy, shiny appearance. I am planning to try this method out for a few more weeks and see how it goes. Also, I am planning on getting a little haircut today. Lets see how that goes…Lol.
Ohhh – and I know I said I would not post photos of my Transitioning Hair until January; but, this morning I took a few and I loved them. I didn’t realize I had that much length – YEAH. So, here is one:

This morning one of my best friends – Maggie – called and informed me that she will be getting married – YEAH! For the longest time we have been good friends – along with my sister and our other best friend D. This is our second wedding as a group – 2 more left to go! Lol. Can’t wait to start helping her plan and organize her beautiful wedding! However, what make this occasion even more exciting is the fact that I hope to be 100% Natural by her wedding – YEAH! – so I consider it testing grounds for trying out various hairstyle for my big day….whenever that might be. Lol.

Black Friday Find
November 29, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Due to the fact that I am in the Dominican Republic, I was not able to wake-up at 4:00 in the morning last Friday, stand in line for 5 hours, and then storm Wal-Mart for a $5.00 Toaster…Lol. However, thanks to the Internet I was able to successfully purchase 2 pairs of jeans from Old Navy.com – all from the comfort of my apartment in the Dominican Republic and at the low price of $15.00. As you all know, a girl in Transition needs to be both Fashionable and Thrifty.
